July 3rd. The day my life changed. July 3, 2010
Happy 3rd of July everyone! For me, the 3rd of July will always carry a special meaning, because it was on this day nine years ago that I would finally go out with the love of my life. It was an awkward first date that included me, my friend Aaron, my cousin Shaphen, his girlfriend Holly, and her sister, my future wife, Lindsey. Stealing quick glances at her being illuminated by the glow of Men In Black ll that was playing on the movie screen was enough for her to steal my heart. And though I hardly talked talked the entire evening and had to bring a friend as backup, she agreed to another date. I love you “L”. Thanks for being my wife!

Nashville Wedding Photography- Nicole & Andrew July 3, 2010
Last Saturday we had the privilege of photographing the wedding of Andrew and Nicole. Despite a few early morning showers, the weather was beautiful for the couples outdoor wedding. Perched at the top of a wooded hill the families property supplied the perfect backdrop for this june wedding. Here are a few images from the day.

Andrew and Nicole Franklin Engagement Session May 19, 2010
Dustin and I had a great session with Andrew and Nicole this past week. We were rained out on Sunday, but we were able to dodge the rain and make things work for Monday afternoon. Andrew was a trooper being that it was his birthday! We met just before sunset and everything was bright and sunny, but the rain did show back up and I shamelessly held my pink umbrella over the camera equipment and Nicole. Everything dried up and we were able to finish up with beautiful sunny pictures! These two will be so fun when there wedding comes around, they never stopped laughing.

Franklin Lifestyle Session- The Savage Family March 16, 2010
On Saturday, Lindsey and I finally had the chance to proof with the Tony and Kelly Savage. It was so hard not to post all of their amazing images on the blog before we had a chance to proof with them, but we wanted to make this session extra special for Kelly and the family. Kelly has been fighting a tough fight with cancer and is doing it with an amazing amount of grace and style. Her strength is truly inspiring. Kelly we love you and our prayers are always with you.

While the weather in Nashville was cold and threatning to snow, L and I were happy in sunny Mississippi covering the wedding of Reuben Oats and Albrey Elliott. The weather was beautiful for both days of shooting and we had so much fun hanging out with both the Elliotts and the Oats. Enjoy

Up and coming country singer Trista Wheaton was looking for some fun new photos for her portfolio, so we dragged her all up and down the streets of down town Franklin! She never complained….well except when that spider almost got her… but anyway! she went along with anything fun we wanted to do and looked just fabulose while doing it!
